As is well known from the earliest days of Christianity, 2 Thessalonians is not
a prophecy but a pastoral letter to one of the congregations St. Paul founded;
he was giving them advice on what considered a growing concern about the
spiritual welfare of the community.

In the Holy Spirit, apostle Paul waxed prophetic in his Spirit-
inspired writings.
