Handheld Electronic PDA Type device/program

I was wondering if anyone was using a PDA, Palm or Smartphone with
Drug Reference software - like epocrates or perhaps PDA.
If so, what device and what software? Is it useful? Practicle? Worth
the money?

I favor Pocket PC PDA's that some varient of Windows.
However my last PDA died and my phone is one its last leg.
I was thinking of getting somekind of smartphone that combines a pda
and phone even though I don't find the idea appealing for some reason
( and I do like my gadgets.)

I'm not a Palm fan but wouldn't rule it out entirely.

So I welcome comments, remarks, suggestions.

Also, if anyone is using a drug reference software of some type, does
it give enough information? It seems that many of the programs out
now days are big on flash but small on actually substance.
Like when you look up GRAVITY on an encyclopia web site and get a big
20 meg video showing gravity and a 2 Kb text file explaining GRAVITY.
