Quick, Get James Phillips to come and reinvent the theory that
exposing Yale's
RICO crime:

is Unibomber Chemistry.

Yet another dirty underhanded Unibomber Chemist has emerged on the
scene with certain
intent to mail Yale a mail-bomb, as well as blow up federal buildings
because he
hates our freedoms:

I was surprised to read the letter to the editor from Dr. Poretz on
May 12 where
he denied any Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) conflict
of interest
relative to the development of Lyme disease treatment guidelines.
Stating the IDSA recommends generic drugs and generic diagnostic tests
is simply
an attempt to deflect scrutiny of the IDSA guideline member’s business
practices.
A recent New England Journal of Medicine article noted that the IDSA
principles
had established business relationships with insurance companies,
medical-malpractice
legal counsel, and drug and diagnostic testing companies.
The IDSA-authored guidelines limit treatment options for the sickest
of Lyme disease
patients. These limits are beneficial for insurance companies in
minimizing coverage
costs and for medical boards seeking to reprimand physicians who treat
Lyme disease.
It is unfortunate that Dr. Poretz, as president of the IDSA, is not
responding to
the issues of conflict of interest in the spirit of the settlement
with Connecticut
Attorney General Blumenthal.
Full disclosure and collaboration are the principles that will enable
the medical
community to advance the quality of care for Lyme disease patients.
