Lisinopril and fatigue

Lisinopril and fatigue

My husband takes Lisinopril. He started with 5mg six months ago and
worked his way up to 10mg.

He is seriously fatigued all the time. It's a little difficult to
know exactly when this started. He takes Coumadin, Zocor, Toprol and
Cardizem, all of which (I think) have fatigue as a possible side
effect. He has been complaining about feeling tired for years and the
doctors have told him it's from the meds.

Lately, however it's been much worse. He used to have energy at least
until noon. Now he's exhausted when he wakes up in the morning and
stays that way all day. Even though we don't know exactly when this
started it seems to me it was around the time that he began the
Lisinopril.

He is not taking this drug for hypertension. He's never had high
blood pressure. He's taking it because the doctor feels that his
kidneys are not functioning as well as they should. Before these meds
his BP was around 135/75, now it tends to run 115/70.

I know fatigue is a common side effect for this drug, but would it
last this long?

He also has a mild cough which I know is another side effect of
Lisinopril. It's not bad enough to be an issue.

Does your hubby know that you are posting his medical info on line?

Since there's no way to know who my hubby is, does it matter???

If there really is no way to know you are probably correct, however are you
so sure of that?
