if the doctor refuses to write a prescription, could I bring the case
to
court ? Where can I find such court decisions ?
Are there certain drugs which have to be prescribed in certain
circumstances or can each doctor freely decide ?

In which jurisdiction? Prescription for what and for what reason? Of
course a doctor may refuse; what would you expect him to do if the local
drug dealer walked into his surgery and asked for a hundred
prescriptions for diamorphine?

Do not know much about how things work in Great Britain, but can you visit
another physician?.
