Scientists successfully awaken sleeping stem cells

Scientists at Schepens Eye Research Institute have discovered what
chemical in the eye triggers the dormant capacity of certain non-
neuronal cells to transform into progenitor cells, a stem-like cell
that can generate new retinal cells.

Great news! My brother lost his peripheral vision due to head trauma.
I hope his vision can be restored within 5 years. He may have to go to
Singapore or South Korea though.
