A fascinating piece that was on 60 Minutes last night about a guy with
no background in science or medicine-not even a college degree-who has
come up with what may be one of the most promising breakthroughs in
cancer research in years. He's a retired business and radio technician
who has terminal leukemia, and one sleepless night while on chemo he
had a brainstorm.

Keep an eye out for this machine. As it gets closer to actually
saving lives and treating people painlessly, certain interests will
find a way to get away from it or keep us on chemo. Same thing for
the compounds that appears very hopeful. Artemisinin and
Dichloroacetate. Both being studied at universities now.

The problem is that machine is far away from treating cancers in humans at
the present time. In the 60 Minutes segment, they had to inject the gold
particles into the surface tumor of the mice. That's not possible with most
human tumors except on the skin.

You might want to read the post (April 14) about NovoCure's machine that has
shown good results with breast cancer and brain cancer. That works in a
somewhat similar manner to the machine in the 60 Minutes piece. But the
NovoCure device is much closer to being on the market with phase 3 trials
going on right now in patients with glioblastoma.

If that thing works, that will be a major advance.

It seems to say he is looking for a way to get the metal .. there .. ?
When in fact others have noticed there is ALREADY a metal .. there ..
Iron is there.
Now I wonder if Kancius knows that iron is there .. ?
