AstraZeneca PLC, which has its U.S. headquarters in Fairfax, was sued
by Arkansas for falsely claiming its antipsychotic medicine Seroquel
was safer than less-expensive drugs and failing to warn of its risks.
AstraZeneca has engaged in a “course of corporate misconduct and
misrepresentation” in violating numerous state laws, Arkansas Attorney
General Dustin McDaniel said in a lawsuit filed yesterday on behalf of
the state’s behavioral health and Medicaid divisions.

Britt, there was a fantastic documentary last nite on PBS, about
depression and how to treat it. There are some amazing ways that
doctors are working to help people.
But, you have to understand, that for some people, medication or
surgery or ECT therapy is the only way for them to get better.
Its 2008, you need to educate yourself in the real world, not the
Scientology world. There is actual research and data, not 50 year old
rantings from a madman like Hubbard.
Be intellectually honest and learn about what is out there, rather
than just parrot some crap science from a cult.

Britt, there was a fantastic documentary last nite on PBS, about
depression and how to treat it. There are some amazing ways that
doctors are working to help people.
But, you have to understand, that for some people, medication or
surgery or ECT therapy is the only way for them to get better.
Its 2008, you need to educate yourself in the real world, not the
Scientology world. There is actual research and data, not 50 year old
rantings from a madman like Hubbard.

I'm sorry but I didn't 't watch the documentary on PBS. I assume that
the program showed pro ECT and pro psychiatric medications? If so then
I'm glad I've missed it because I don't need to sit on my sofa
watching lies.

ECT does nothing but damage the brain. Why do you think theirs memory
losses as a common side effects? ECT should not be forced on another
person. I support human rights and if someone wants ECT, theirs not a
damn thing that I can do about it. What I can do is fight for those
(who can't speak for themselves) who's right are being violated by the
scam artist psychiatrists who thinks everybody but themselves are
insane.

Oh sweetie I've done TONS of research about psychiatry and so far I
understand why I hated the fake medical profession in the first place.
Using ECT that was once used to slaughter pigs doesn't seem like an
ethical treatment, neither does shoving an ice pick up someones eye
socket to jam the frontal part of the brain doesn't sound ethical
either.

Brit, your research comes from outdated and bizzare writings of L. Ron
Hubbard.
I doubt you have the educational background to understand science,
but, millions are saved from depression and mental illness by modern
medical science.

Barb, people are getting real help from doctors.
All they get from scientology is a bunch of vitamins they piss out in
3 hours, and a wad of cash taken from their wallet.
