You do know that Math can be your friend, don't you?

So I have heard, but when you grew up learning the old math, and I knew
there was a better way to do those calculations even back then, but was
told no, you have to do it this way or else you will get marked down,
and you come up with your own shortcut system for getting the correct
answers, the new math is intimidating. So much so that I nearly stroked
out one day from the stress of trying to achieve a high mark, and the
6th graders next door can do the math, it is cruel and inhumane to force
someone to learn the new math.

The elementary math required for graduation is not "New Math". "New Math"
is Junior and Senior level courses where one has to use a page and a half of
letters and symbols to prove line "a" is isomorphic to line "b".

There seems to be a misconception about what "New Math" really is. A math
major can take math thru calculus and differential equations and never have
any "abstract" (New Math).

I suggest that you give it another shot with a positive attitude about
elementary algebra and "Get-R-Done". You'll see, one day it will "snap" and
all will make sense and you'll say: "Hey, there's nothing hard about this
crap."

Depends on how old you are.
I am not even planning on taking geometry again.

My mother learned calculus in high school.

I had a very good professor here that taught algebra. I liked his style
of teaching.
He also teaches a class at the satellite community college nearby.
I actually like algebra, and have found that I use it daily but in
logic, not numbers.

I just want to be able to pass the exit exam with no more high
university fees for a class I don't really want.
I have already satisfied the universities requirements for critical
thinking by virtue of my major.

Thanks for the advice, I will take that into consideration.

Get the hook out of your mouth, idiot.

: She has been bogus from the start.
: She can't file bankruptcy against her student loans, IIRC.
: She will be able to file for the loan after Bankruptcy Ct. Declares her
: Bankrupt.

net.
