One of the Pharma Scientist try to put the blame on Doctors for
injecting
the babies with mercury..He said "The Doctors should read what they
are injecting
into the babies"

When I first found out about the mercury in Rhogam, I wrote to
hundreds of OBGYN'S
across the Nation to let them know what they were injecting into
pregnant women, I also enclosed the
Petition from bayer where they tried to get Thimerosal taken off the
list as a reproductive toxin.

The results of that petition was that Thimerosal is a Neurotoxin that
has been PROVEN to cause
Severe Mental Retardation to the fetus.


One OBGYN Clinic that I had written to, I sent my letter to the Head
of the clinic. He sent out a mass email
to all the Physcians (I landed up with the email) Demanding a URGENT
meeting regarding injecting Thimerosal and Pregnant women. Im not sure
what the result was of that meeting. But he did thank me, as did MOST
of the OBGYN's that I had written.


Its a uphill battle...

As for the patent, he helped develop it and is legally entitled to its
benefit. It is fully disclosed.

Andy Wakefield also had a patent on a MMR substitute. No anti-vac liar

Merck bought and delivers copies of Offit's book, "What Every Parent
Should Know About Vaccines," to American doctors. The book has a list
price of $14.95.

"I am a co-holder of a patent for a (rotavirus) vaccine. If this
vaccine were to become a routinely recommended vaccine, I would make
money off of that," Offit said.


Republican staff on the House Government Reform Committee looked into
the CDC panel that recommended the vaccination. Their August 2001
report found that "four out of eight CDC advisory committee members
who voted to approve guidelines for the rotavirus vaccine in June 1998
had financial ties to pharmaceutical companies that were developing
different versions of the vaccine."

And now the GOOD news!!

The CDC said that in October 2002 it adopted new guidelines for
participating on that advisory committee that in the future will
preclude people with conflicts like Offit's from sitting on the
committee.
