ARE THERE ANY "IRON FREE" MULTI-VITAMINS ON THE MARKET ????.If so what and where is the best place tI have had Hep-C now for twenty five or so years,and I do now look
after myself properly work out with Weights,
I cycle between 25 and 30 miles depending on the weather,and I walk at
least 6 miles per day every day.There are
also a number of Vitamin and natural supplements I use to keep my
Liver ticking over.I have now stopped taking the Iron enriched
Vitamins after reading this web-site.I visit my specialist every six
months and he sometimes used to reckon I was Aneomic.When I had my
catastrophic Blood loss,I was put on Ferous Sulphate tabs to help
replenish my blood supply.This I suppose is where I got the Idea that
Multi Vitamins with a high Iron content would
do me some good.After reading this Web-site I have clearly changed my
mind,I now go for Vitamins which have a
low iron count although I am yet to find any without any Iron at all.I
also take St Johns Wort,and Milk Thistle,and
Omega three fish oil tablets.Right now I am torn between stopping
taking the Multi-Vits altogether as I have heard
that any excess Iron makes the Virus Rampant.Could I possibly take
several different tablets (say like B12 and B6
with others present to give a fair all round Vitamin regime without
the Iron).
I went through the Peg Interferon a few years back and
would hate to think all that pain and effort was wasted through my own
ignorance and a few poxy tablets.The Virus did clear altogether from
my blood sample sbut alas it came back,as I am Geno-type one which is
almost impossible to clear.I would hate to have to go back to feeling
like shit,again like I used to.The Apathetic lethargy and depression
seriously got me down sometimes.I have not felt like that for years
and I hope I have made my body stronger with my exercise regime.I
figure that a strong body must make a stronger immune system.Has any-
body out there got any advice as I find this good for bad for thing
quite perplexing.These warnings
also come out all the time about which food you should eat ETC
ETC,should I ignore the Iron thing and keep on taking what I think is
doing me good ????.
