his treatment.

He had seeds together with temporary hormone therapy. I followed his
case because my bout with prostate cancer started about that time. I
always found his choice strange because there he was in NY City with
Peter Scardino right at hand. He couldn't have done better, at his age,
in terms of chances for a cure without serious side effects.

I always assumed he chose seeds because he thought his chances of
avoiding impotence would be better, but I have absolutely no evidence
that such was the case. Perhaps he just didn't want to be cut. A lot
of men feel that way.

He also decided to pull out of the NY race for Senate, in which he would
have faced Hillary Clinton. His reason, I believe, was that he had to
attend to his health. He was in fact going through a rather rough time
right then. This was before 9/11, and New Yorkers were getting sort of
tired of him as mayor. Also, he was going through a contentious divorce
from his second wife. One amusing sidelight, if I remember correctly,
is that she accused him of entertaining his new love interest, now his
third wife, at Gracie Mansion, the mayoral residence, while his children
were there. But Giuliani responded that because of the Lupron he wasn't
capable of much along those lines anyway.

out of NYU.

I had a consult with his Doc.... the same guy publically taken to task
for his unethical treatment of George Harrison by his surviving family. The
Doc told me.... "Rudy didn't want to be cut open, and have to wear diapers".
I swear to this, word for word.

I don't know anything about the George Harrison business, but for a doctor
to breach patient-privacy ethics like that---It's simply inexcusable.

Dear Mr. F. Fighter,

It is quite likely that there are turkeys who are smarter than you.

I apologize to all the turkeys who may be browsing this group for mentioning
them in the same post, as I am sure it embarrasses them to be even obliquely
associated with you.

Theeeer's no business like show business. Keep your day job.
