Seminal fluid in urine?

Seminal fluid in urine?

I'm a 49 YO male. In the last two days I have noticed what seems like
I'm passing seminal fluid when urinating - "strands" of milky white
discharge mixed in the urine in the bowl. (At first I thought it was
tissue paper floating around.) No other symptoms - no pain, increased
frequency of urinating, fever etc. It's most obvious in the first
urination of the day.

I tried to search on this symptom and came up with nothing. I can't find
anything that comes right out and says this is a symptom of prostatitis,
or anything else for that matter.

My annual checkup with my GP is on September 4th. Anyone familiar with
this symptom? Should I see someone about it sooner than September 4th
even if no other symptoms start showing up?

(Getting old sux...)

Rick

Rick,
The best thing to do would be to see a doctor. He or she will probably
conduct a urine test to see if you have any type of infection. I checked
my 1000 page medical book for "bladder infection" and it mentioned
"burning and stinging" while urinating but you indicated that you had no
pain while urinating. Therefore, it's doubtful that you have a bladder
infection. I am not a doctor.
If it is an infection, it's easy to treat with medication. The infection
could get much worse if it is not treated ASAP.
