Botox for overactive bladder
I turned down the offer to be on a clinical trial for the use of Botox to
control overactive bladder. The key detriment was the necessity for several
cystoscopies necessary for the injections into the bladder.
At this point, the TUMT has enabled me to empty my bladder pretty well with
good flow. Nevertheless, the total volume I void is so great, that even if
the Botox worked I would still wake up at times not conducive to falling
asleep again.
