Green Light laser Risk percentages
>From what I have read or heard, my guess is that the risk from Green
Light laser prostatectomy is 1% impotence, 30% retrograde ejaculation,
20 % urethral constriction, and that on average, you have to do it
again after 5 years. Is this correct? Are there members who can give
me a more informed opinion?

I had PVP 2/23/05 which was billed to be "bladder neck sparing PVP."
When he did the procedure, he made one cut in the bladder neck to open
it up. The result is retro 100%. My guess is that the percent for
retro is double at least the 30% figure that you quote. For some,
retro is no big deal. For me, I miss the pumping action of orgasm.
Would I do it again? Yes. I did poorly on Uroxatral and Flomax which
gave me low back pain, made me tired, and grouchy in mood. Be happy to
answer questions if you have any.

same as PVP. My friend who has the same problem you had is now
looking into that. From what he found the Green Light could not be
used as it might reflect off the metal seeds. I wonder why a lower
frequency beam would be OK.
