That is, wholey asshole nonsense.
Well occasionally I just have to shout into the ether. We have an
irradiator
for irradiating blood products and we've already spent 6 digits
putting an unnecessary security system Homeland Innanicy said we
needed- cause you know some terrorist may choose N. Podunckany to
lauch an attack attack and strap on a big-ass bomb required to go
through the lead and dirty up the area -
but he'd never ever force a tech to open the secure locked door for
him or blast his way through (shows you what bullshit this whole thing
is- Homeland the illusion of Security with all the expense but not the
reality- Mission Accomplished!)
NOW we have to get fingerprinted ! have $$$ background checks and
install a NEW big ass expensive piece of crap ('cause again- Homeland
Vanity). Yeah that'll stop Omar. Cause Mr. terrorist will be willing
to will to walk the halls with XXX TNT, but he'd surely not cut off
someone's finger or intimidate them into letting him in- yeah, right.
And of course, John Q Public probably thinks this a great idea! worth
all the money in the world (as long as JQP doesn't actually have to
pay personally for it) not realizing its so much hogwash expensive
window dressing- Homeland Irrelevancy. Mission Accomplished.

It's obvious to me that Big Brother wants all Cesium irradiators replaced
with XRay-types, and they are willing to stop at little until it's too
expensive to continue using them.

I still say the most cost effective solution is to require all blood bankers
to be armed ... that's what the built-in side holster on scrubs are for
anyway!

happy to oblige- what needs elaborating? homeland Security? The dept.
created after 9/11 to oversee all the dept. because they weren't
talking to each other before 9/11 (although, i think they weren't
talking to each other due to an act of congress in the distrust govt.

expensive, pointless recommendations to everyone but provide no way of
paying for them (or time and personnel) that give the illusion of
decreasing risk of sabotage but in really frustrate everyone and
increase anger and hostility in society.

stick the blood/plts into a cannister, it rotates to a Cessium source
that destroys the ability of the white cell to reproduce preventing
graft vs host disease in an immunocompromised patient.

Since nicstepro likes to babble on, assuming everyone knows (or cares)
what he is talking about, I assume he is one of my [fellow] Americans
who egocentrically thinks that the US is the center of the universe.
This type of attitude contributes to the world-wide view that Americans
haven't the foggiest idea of what is going on anywhere else, because the
U.S. is the be-all and end-all of existence. He could not even come up
for air to answer your inquiry effectively.

Manky, I have no idea what all this is about, other than that, after
9-11, the U.S. Gummit created a new cabinet level Department of Homeland
Security that drives all the invasive checking and rechecking of
everyone everywhere looking for terrorists.

oh-no- no no no, we are a gun free zone much like the schools and
shopping malls where a gunman can walk with the surety that he can
kill at his leisure, for as long as he wants, until he's plain
tuckered out, and will not be taken down by a citizen with a
concealed carry or armed guard. kind of an all-you-can-kill salad bar.
And since its a hospital, it'd be like those ranches where rich men
with guns kill wounded cougars and toothless bears.
