(job) IHE/DICOM software engineering job in the Bay Area

specializing in medical technology professionals. We currently have a
long standing client who is looking a senior server engineer to join
their team. This individual must be an expert in both IHE and DICOM
and demonstrate expertise in the following areas:



Strong C++ and/or . net server side developer. Lots of Windows OS
experience

Expert (designing, implementing and integrating) on IT Infrastucture
and Radiology IHE profiles. Some of these profiles include:

Patient Identifier Cross Referencing for MPI (PIX)

Patient Demographics Query (PDQ)

Cross Enterprise Document Sharing for Imaging (XDS-I)

Cross Enterprise User Authentication (XUA)

Audit Trail and Node Authentication (ATNA)


Expert at designing and implementing DICOM services (SCP and SCU)

Storage

Query Retrieve

Storage Commit

Modality Performed Procedure Step

Modality Worklist


General knowledge of HL7


This person will be responsible for developing new capabilities in the
product to support the above.

This position is with a fairly autonomous business unit of a global
player. The position is located in Foster City California, which is in
the 650 area code within the Bay Area. This is a very central location
for the Bay Area, and an easy commute from the East Bay, the City or
of course anywhere on the Peninsula or South Bay.
