You failed to state his "issue". Is it the Number of exams he's
performing? Is his occupational dose monitored? In the 70's we used to
do screening Chest x-rays on the underground miners in our town. Did
quite a few every day. Never seemed to have a problem with tech work
voulme or exposure.
