My wife has had a similar experience.
She's been on forteo for about 1 1/2 years. The increase in bone
density has been dramatic. We pay a higher copay ($65 per month), but
it's lots better than the $665 per month it costs!
Only side effects are occasional sharp bone pain.
My wife self injects. The supplier sent a nurse to the house to show
her how.
After the first couple of times,
no problem!
