AC joint injury type 3

AC joint injury type 3

Looking for feed back from people who have had this injury surgicly
repaired. I have tried to get in touch through my orthopedic doctor and
through my physical theripist but nither actually got me in touch with
anyone who has had the surgery. I have very little pain or loss of motion
but my shoulder really droups and the bone pouches up very pronounced. The
physical theripest says the surgery is mainly cosmetic but the doctor says
it will make my shoulder work better and feel more normal. I am curious why
he failed to get me in touch with one of his paients that he did the surgery
on.

In the US: HIPAA - Health Insurance Portability and Acountablity Act.

Patient confidentiality: He can't tell you about another patient's
medical history.

Time: They don't have the time to look through their records to see
who had the same procedure, then contact them to see if they would be
willing to talk to you.

Try searching the web for the name of the specific procedure.
Sometimes patients will consent to an interview about a procedure that
will appear online. Check out the websites of major orthopaedic
practices. Here are a few to get you started:

this should be fixed defnitely
for normal function of the upperl imb a simple procedeure under
anaesthesis
a screw from the clavicle to coracoid
that should be earlier removed
