Distal Bicep rupture

About a month ago, I had a surgery reattaching my bicep tendon to my elbow
bone (two incision method). I was in a cast for about two weeks. I started
therapy one week after my cast was removed. During my first session, I could
really feel the pressure when the therapist stretched my muscles by bending
my hand up and down at my wrist. As soon as the therapist was done icing my
arm and wrist, I started feeling a lot of pain. The next day, my forearm and
wrist swelled up. I went to my therapist one more time three days after the
first session. She was more gentle on my arm/wrist since she saw my forearm
and wrist looked like a balloon. It is now 10 days after my first therapy
session and I am still swollen and have pain at my wrist and forearm. My
wrist gets numb every couple of hours and I need to move my fingers to make
it better. I can feel a lot of pressure at my wrist. The pain does not seem
to be improving. My surgeon is not sure what the problem is and has
scheduled me for Ultrasound in two weeks. X-rays of my arm and wrist did not
show anything wrong. Does anyone know what could be wrong? I would very much
appreciate your help.

Thank you.
