Jeezus this is getting out of hand. What's the point of all the cross
posting and dammit, this is a fashion newsgroup!

Where have all the good ones gone???

I keep checking in, hoping the good ones will show back up. The one
thing I've done that's helped the seal people etc problem is to download
a program called Newsproxy and filter out every post that comes from
Googlegroups, and that's gotten rid of most of the spam and other junk.
I didn't see any of the seal posts, although I apparently eliminated
them with my filter that ditches anything from a gmail account. The
program also has a way to filter out anything that's cross posted,
although I haven't tried that yet.

Of course, unfortunately all of that just means that now I can go for
days at a time without seeing anything posted on af. But maybe,
eventually, some of the others will try again...
