What I am wearing today
What I am wearing today
Perfect sunny weather today!
- C&C California red knee-length empire dress. V-neck in front and back.
- Medium-tan ankle strap sandals with 1.5" heel.
- Club Monaco Sheer lipstick in Beantown.
I did my sister's makeup for prom. She wanted a very natural look -- she's
more of a tomboy -- so I applied:
- Lancome Clarifiance to prep the skin, followed by Lancome Aqua Fusion
moisturizer.
- Makeup Forever concealer under eyes and wherever else it was needed.
- MAC StudioFix C3 all over.
- Dusting of MAC Blot powder in Medium all over.
- NARS Orgasm blush on cheeks.
- Lips lined and filled in with Prestige Angora lipliner, Sonia Kashuk lip
sheer in Magic (a shimmery reddish mauve with a soft shine).
- spritz of Evian to set the makeup.
There was enough shimmer/shine to be noticeable (blush & lips), but it was
subtle enough that it wasn't out of character for her. I tried to convince
her to do eyeshadow and mascara, but she refused. I sent her off with a
Guess black satin envelope clutch with fine silver chain strap filled with
blot papers and the Sonia Kashuk lip sheer.

A bit late posting, but here goes.
Sage green v neck t-shirt, dark green jeans, new Hush Puppy brown lace
up shoes, verrrrry comfortable, and white socks. (Eeeeek) Well, I'm
at work and it's night time and very casual. Also I have on a pair
peridot leverback earrings and peach color lipstick.

I haven't had a pair of Hush Puppies in years but was thinking of them the
other day. They are by far the most comfortable shoes on the market and
always have been. Seems they lost their glory long ago and I really don't
know why...

I haven't had a pair of Hush Puppies in years but was thinking of them the
other day. They are by far the most comfortable shoes on the market and
always have been. Seems they lost their glory long ago and I really don't
know why...

Just like walking on air, the support is excellent and the shoes looks
good, too! Quite pleased with my purchase and these are lace up
shoes.

Huh, they were discussed in Malcolm Gladwell's first book IIRC
The Tipping Point, and he said they had a vogue, I guess that's
passed.

I couldn't remember all that but it's a special occasion

- Threadless pinky beige tee with '70s floral design.
- army green cotton twill shorts that I bought for something like $5 at a
Target end of season sale.
- white gold jewelry.
- Bass Sharon sandals in red leather.
- Calvin Klein tortoise shell glasses.
