How do you bleach and die roots and still have a uniform hair colour??

I've seen girls hair and you can see that different areas have a
different shade. Do you have to bleach and colour all your hair each
time? How much bleaching can hair tolerate before being damaged? Is
there a way to bleach dark black hair without ending up with red hair?
I'm tired of red hair. Nobody seems to know how to get asian hair
light. Pink would be ok but my parents would dissown me.

Those different shades are called highlights and they are done by a
professional stylist. This is not something you should attempt at
home unless you have aspirations of being a clown entertainer at
children's parties. Don't attempt this with some crappy drugstore
kit. If you want your hair to look beautiful and not like some 13
year old has been doing a number on your hair you'll have to part with
some money and head to a GOOD salon that has colorists that know their
business. Surely there are some good salons in your area?

I don't think your parents should be worried about pink hair, they
probably have enough to worry about concerning you and pink would be
the least of their problems.
