OT: Houston cowboy

OT: Houston cowboy

I supposed everyone and his neighbor (especially his NEIGHBOR), has heard
about the Houston man who was on the phone with the 911 operator when he
wittnessed his neighbor's house being burglarized. Despite being
admonished not to do anything, and being told that the police was on the
way, he ran outside and shot both of the intruders in the back and killed
them. He claims that he felt fear for his life, evidentally when he was on
the phone with 911 and the burglars were getting away. The Grand Jury
refused to indict him. Thank the Lord for our gun laws, otherwise those
damned illegal aliens would probably have gotten away with a bunch of
DVD's and some silverware.

They do things a little different in Texas.

A Texas criminal defense lawyer, Richard Haynes, aka Texas Racehorse
Haynes, won an acquittal of a client who was clearly guilty of murder.

At trial, Racehorse conceded that his client had killed the man.

No question about it.

But the jury acquitted: the reason?

The now immortal Texas defense to murder, as eloquently stated by
Haynes: "The sonofabitch needed killin'>

Not for legal grounds such as self defense or defense of others; just
on general principle.

The sonofabitch needed killin.'

Love it.

I guess crime doesn't pay.

Jesus, Tom. The two scumbags were BREAKING INTO a house and
STEALING. Who knows what they would have done if the family was
there. Those two should not have even been in the country in the
first place. Torres and Ortiz were unemployed illegal immigrants from
Colombia. Torres was deported to Colombia in 1999 after a 1994 COCAINE-
related conviction.

We need more neighbors like that. 2 less scumbags that I have to pay
taxes for.

Absolutely the dumbest post of the year. Yes dumber than any Payton or
Mikey post. It has nothing to do with conservative politics vs.
liberal, gun vs anti gun, but everything to do with the country you
live in. Do you have a clue as to the Constitution of your nation,
rules of law, or any of the incidentals that make for a society worth
living in? I would rather live next door to those two thieves than to
anyone who thinks in the terms stated above. Tell me you were just
kidding, please.

Huh?

Yep. Apparently you don't.

So, you'd rather live next door to a bunch of coked-out illegal ex
cons? Wow. That tells me a lot about you, Norm.

No, I do not care to explain for the same reason I did not continue to
argue with you about global warming. When a person is so profoundly
ignorant of an issue that their best argument is "we all have to drive
a Prius", or Duh, Gore doesn't do it, it makes no sense to try and
convince them. In this case I will simply tell you to read the Bill of
Rights and try to comprehend it. If at that point you still want to
execute people without benefit of a trial then I would suggest you
move to a country where that is the custom. You may want to also re-
read the details of this case, if facts make any difference to you.
These people were executed simply because "they needed killing" not
because they were a threat to anyone at that moment. What they "might"
have done is not an issue, otherwise you "might" as well just walk
down the street shooting at people who "may" do you harm.
By the way, just so you know, both Presidential candidates have a
green agenda when it comes to global warming as does most of the House
and Senate. So it looks like it doesn't matter what the Flat Earthers
think, the right thing will be done.
Sorry to mix and match the two issues, but your opinions just scream
ignorance so they become one in my mind. Incidentally, it is not your
opinions that rile me nearly as much as how uninformed you are.

> Huh?

This the United States of America where we have the Bill of Rights.
You may want to check your address if you thought differently.

That statement would be truly funny if it weren't so sad.

You cannot convince me of throwing away all my God-given rights and
paying more in taxes to these fruitcakes than you can convince me the
earth is a cube and the sun is cold. So, please don't try. Some of
us aren't that easily duped into believing everything the govmt. tells
us. You, OTOH, are.

> In this case I will simply tell you to read the Bill of

Been there, done that. When James Madison wrote the Bill of Rights,
it was to limit the power of the federal government by making a check
on the balance of power. It also gave rights to the CITIZENS of this
country. Are you stating that the illegals were citizens? Illegals
do have rights but not full blown rights as citizens do.

Learn your history.

Why the f*ck would I move anywhere but here?

I've heard the tapes and heard the interview with Diane Sawyer and
agree with the grand jury.

How do you know? Were you there? Were you in the same state of mind
as the guy who shot them?

Yeah, quite an extrapolation there. Talk about a 'straw man'
argument. You claim people do it to you and here you are making one.

Yep. Follow that trend... err, dollar.

Which is WHAT? More taxes and more central power? Whooptie f*cking
doo.

Yet you are so stupid as to not even know what the Bill of Right is.
What a MAROON!

> This the United States of America where we have the Bill of Rights.
> You may want to check your address if you thought differently.

Looks like the shooter was exercising them too, eh?

> That statement would be truly funny if it weren't so sad.

What is so sad is your constant hypocrisy and name calling when you
lack even the basic fundamental facts comprising an argument. You
reduce yourself to name calling because you cannot logically compose a
sound and convincing argument based on facts and logic.

Hypocrite.

> Again, tell me you were doing your best John Payton/Big Mikey

No, but let me do my best Norm imitation:

"You big dummy. You heard of the Bill of Rights? I don't think so.
Learn to read. The Constitution says you can rob. Illegals have all
the same rights as citizens. My 2nd grade teacher said so. Stupid
head, stupid head, dumb dumb. I know more than you and I cannot prove
it."

Did that pretty much sum it up for you, big boy?

Norm is the typical Massachusetts liberal. If that shooting had taken
place in this state, the poor guy would be on his way to prison and the
state would have been paying for these illegals funeral in their home
countries.

Thank you John Pantsleg for making my point to EE. Now if he just
claims he was doing a spot on imitation of morons like you he can
extricate himself from this embarrassing situation with a minimum of
lost face.

Evidently, it's okay for the illegal aliens next door to be involved
in drug use, drug dealing, robbing and plundering, but it's not okay
to call them scumbags?

To Recap:

Drug dealing - illegal
Being in this country illegally - 'nuf said
Rob and Plunder - illegal
Expressing an opinion and describing people, based on their actions,
who do the above acts - damn that pesky 1st Amendment, it shouldn't be
allowed and the person who uttered it should be publicly condemned?
That's some convoluted logic.

How calling these scumbags, "Scumbags," is worse than their actions,
is beyond me. However, anyone who would like to honor these scumbags
by living next door to them, you have my blessings and I'll be happy
to give you some locations that will almost guarantee them next door.
That will keep the scumbags happy with an easy mark and away from my
family and home while providing the head-in-the-sand types with an
opportunity to be nice to them and make excuses for their behavior.
This way it's a win-win for all involved.

And, of course, conservative Vs liberal has nothing to do with it.

Yeah, me bad, criminals good. What a world Norm, OR and some of the
other bleeding hearts in here live in.

Aren't they "victims"?

Logic? They don't need no stinkin' logic.

Start at the lovely town of Inglewood and work your way down.

Maybe they could give them all of their hard earned possessions, like
TVs, couches, cars, money, jewelry, etc. I am sure their kids would
love to have them around too.

Funny that I didn't even bring it up.

LOL! Yeah, but you left soon after leaving the womb, right? Hey, I'd
go to Inglewood for Randy's Donuts or Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles.
It's worth a trip and a few bullet holes in my car.
