It really scares me that McCain is a craps player. After all, this is
a game with no real chance to win over the long run. I don't want to
make the easy analogy but I will. Iraq.

A few years ago while waiting for friends at Bellagio I met Sen. McCain at a
craps table. This was around the time he was spearheading the effort to ban
betting on NCAA games. I have to admit it would be pretty cool to tell the
grand kids I played craps next to a president and the 1st lady.

Its a wonder how he can throw the dice with his injuries. Maybe he passes
them. I know I have been having trouble with a bum shoulder for over a
year.

More than that, it puts him in MY league.

In truth, poker is a game of skill and cunning, whereas craps is a game of
chance and thrill. I never got my pilot's liscence (one of my life's
regrets), so I have to settle for craps. I LOVE it.

Being an ex-Navy guy, as well as, a craps shooter one would think I
should be pulling for McCain.
I would enjoy shooting craps with the guy, however, I don't think that
qualifies him for the presidency.
Maybe I'll vote for DocTCW.....

If I remember correctly, McCain is a dice setter. He'll basically
Set-Grip-Toss the dice with a perfect arc and have them gently rest
against the back wall. He likes the 4-5 set since more field numbers
appear with that set. I knew that face looked familiar at Heavy's
Professional Dice School in Mississippi. Hey John...How about another
Hi-Lo-Yo set with them dice!!! Vic

Obama is playin' his cards very well now that he's won the Dem
nomination by moving to the center. After the last 8 years of BUSHit,
the whole country is counting down til he's gone:
