Don't expect Harrah's to do anything meaningful with the Barbary
Coast. After they changed the name following the purchase from Coast
Casinos, they had no plans on keeping it up for very long. But thanks
for the recession, imploding a perfectly good older property doesn't
sound like such a great idea anymore. They will no doubt keep it
around for a while longer without putting any improvements into the
property. I'm sure they'll maintain it, but that's about it. I've
always liked the BC...I'm glad that it'll be staying for a few more
years at the very least.
If only they'd waited a few more years on the Stardust and Frontier.
No way they would've blown them up today.
