old photos

While cleaning attic over the weekend, I came across old photo album...
pictures from June 1975 ! I was staying at Holiday Inn ( now Harrah's ) -
looking north and took 3 pictures ( to make panorama). The Sands parking
lot was humungous ( and probably now worth $1 Billion). Landmark, Las
Vegas Hilton, and north strip in background.
Quite a difference.

I used to love the parking at the Sands. easy in and out and just to
the side of the entrance. Stardust was another that I remember having
parking right there.

Stardust had parking right outside the Race and Sports book, just like
the Hilton does. Whenever we stayed at any North Strip hotel in that
area, we just left the car in that lot, even overnight.

Yeah I thought of that before posting - but they're kinda faded 30 yr old
pix. My scanner isn't that great so didn;t come out so good. Next time I'm
near a newer scanner I do /did plan on scanning to get onto a website .

The 77 of Harrah's is great. I just took some photo's recently doing the
same thing, shoot, rotate, shoot, rotate, shoot. :) We use to always do that
years ago.
