Oh well....booked November
Going to SEMA again. First class on Delta for $800+tax. Gs' ticket is
free with skymiles. August is Kansas, September is Bahamas, November is
Vegas.....life is good. Tom in Ct

Not this year. The MLB playoffs were distracting us from the football
betting. Plus, something about Cyberhog saying that November would
work out better for everyone. I do like the cooler weather in
November, so I'm all for it.

With the Cubs and Sox going to the World Series, I just wouldn't feel right
watching it thousands of miles away.
However, the real reason is that a couple of the kids' birthdays bookend the
Sporgy and there's very little wiggle room. With the weekend "creeping"
towards a couple of birthdays, we decided to move it to November to avoid
conflicts.
We picked 7-11 November for the obvious reason.

Damn it all to hell. I had hoped to make the Sporgy this year but my wife's
family is having a get-together in Vegas in mid Octoober. I'm not much on
sports or race betting, but I would have liked to meet the Sporgy crew.

Damn it all to hell. I had hoped to make the Sporgy this year but my wife's
family is having a get-together in Vegas in mid Octoober. I'm not much on
sports or race betting, but I would have liked to meet the Sporgy crew.

Being a Cub fan, I'd have to prepare for the worst. Losing to the Pale Hose
after not being in the series for 63 years and not winning it for 100 would
be devastating. Losing to the Red Sox would be far easier to take.
However, this year there is the distinct possibility that both Chicago teams
will make it. I'm going to have to make sure I have no GI bleeds coming into
the WS if that were the case. And if we were at Sporgy during that time, my
intensity level would not be pleasurable to be around.
