What's that got to do with the price of rice in China?

I saw Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor in "Cleopatra." Does that count?
If not, how about "Who's afraid of Virginia Wolff?"

Haven't seen him, but Steve H-K in this newsgroup gave Burton a so-so
review when he was performing at the V Theater in Planet Hollywood.

http :// www .vegasmagicreviews,com /

if you're just looking for a good magic show and are not set on Burton,
consider "World's Greatest Magic Show" at Greek Isles.

Free same-day tickets are available by calling the box office when it
opens at 10 AM. "Free" means $2 service charge per ticket, and you can
upgrade closer to the stage for another $7.50.

Phone # is 702-737-5540. If they ask where you heard about this deal,
tell them you saw their ad in Vegas2Go magazine (a freebie publication
distributed in some of the hotels).

Thanks for the plug Walt.

If I may quote from that review:

>>When I review a magic show in Las Vegas I'm taking into consideration
>>that the average visitor has a limited amount of time and a limited
>>budget. Nathan Burton's show falls somewhere in the middle of a very
>>strong pack of competitors. Go see Lance Burton first. Catch Penn and
>>Teller. By all means see Mac King. Learn who Jeff McBride is, but good
>>luck finding him performing live here. See Worlds Greatest Magic Show.
>>If you've taken in some or all of these shows then by all means give
>>Nathan Burton a shot. But if time and money are an issue, see the guys
>>on the A list first. Hopefully Nathan Burton will be on that list in the
>>near future.

Yes we did, and he was fine IF you get the 1/2 price tix. Not flashy and
not amazing, but OK. The thing I didn't like was all the self promotion.
His TV appearances, tee shirts, DVD's, tell all your friends, etc etc. He's
far from Mac King.
