OT centrifuge queryMaking bio-diesel is detail-oriented, but not necesarily difficult. I
am not detail oriented as a character trait. So I'm looking at doing
WVO instead of bio-diesel so I don' have 100gallons of pure methanol
in my 100F warehouse. I see these continuous-feed centrifuges for sale
that claim they can filter down to 5 microns or so and if the oil is
heated you can get up to 50 gallons per hour. That would seem to be a
better solution for a big-ass step van like mine instead of fussing
with all the chemicals and methanol. The van has tons of free space to
fit tanks. Does anybody on the list have any experience with the
centrifuge cleaning of WVO? Here is a link if you are interested:
