Another interesting article

The reason I post these articles is primarily to share some of the
industry mail I get and to watch the reactions posted by regulars
here. A large part of what I have been doing for the last couple of
years has been helping coffee businesses at varying levels get
started. A large part of that is watching market trends, and the
successes and failures of those that shape the market.
I'm finding a lot of floundering around in the industry right now, and
some of this is illustrated by $bux grasping at seemingly random
straws to correct their recent downturns.
The last batches of articles also seem to be struggling with
misconceptions and misinformation, and seem to be coming from less
than positive standpoints as regards $bux.
I personally don't think the industry as a whole is benefitting by the
focus on failure, but I guess any publicity is good. Right?....al

Sentence in article:
"To be sure, Roberts's shop and other independents are not solely
responsible for Starbucks' troubles, which many analysts are blaming
on extreme over-expansion."

Spouse was in CT the past few days and had a $bux at a shop in
Branford, CT and said it was possibly the best $bux he'd ever had.

The next day in Greenwich, CT he said he had possibly the worse $bux
he had ever had; again Quadruple shot/Americano in a tall cup.

Extreme over-expansion, perhaps, but there is only one $bux in each of
the towns, AFAIK.
Both of these shops have been there long enough to do the training
exercise.
