Yep. When we get some rare rains these guys are often seen on the
walls and crossing the roads. Harmless, although if they sense they
are in danger they can inflict a bite. Nothing like stumbling into the
kitchen for a cuppa and having one of these guys greet you. Better
than a rattler.

Until your post, I thought that was fake and a prop to show the size
relationship to the cup. I liked your fire photo too. Thanks for
