The buzz-killers following that Nazi playbook straight down the line:

SACRAMENTO - Joe Six-pack will have to pay a lot more to get his buzz
on if Assemblyman Jim Beall has his way.

The San Jose Democrat on Thursday proposed raising the beer tax by
$1.80 per six-pack, or 30 cents per can or bottle. The current tax is
2 cents per can. That's an increase of about 1,500 percent.

Beall said the tax would generate $2 billion a year to fund health
care services, crime prevention and programs to prevent underage
drinking and addiction.

"The people who use alcohol should pay for part of the cost to
society, just like we've accepted that concept with tobacco," Beall
said.

The key is to buy your beer in kegs.

Nah, just make your own. In Washington the components are considered
foodstuffs and therefore not taxed.

You cut out the part where everyone involved said the ideas was dead on
arrival. This is clearly just you making your usual trouble. Mike, it is
time you found a psychiatrist.

I post, therefore I am.

Mike, Mike, Mike. Trolling a cigar group is very bad. And you don't even
drink beer. Frankly I am all for having you committed. You're losing it
dude. Maybe we could take up a collection and establish a trust fund for
your permanent hospitalization. If you do well, we can forgo the
electroshock and the lobotomy.

I'd prefer to skip the lobotomy, but a little ECT can sure liven up
your day. ;-)

Of course, when the person is Republican, it's quite worthy of a couple
hours airtime on the MSM.

BTW, has the MSM ever told us what party affiliation Elliott Spitzer is?

Didn't think so.
