It may be wise for some folks looking to expand thier tobacco
libraries to check out Amazon daily! I picked up a copy of TPSE Book 2
today in excellent condition for only $39.00! I honestly thought it
was mispriced! This may be the best online deal that I've ever got on
anything ever!

Wow- congratulations, Doc! That was quite a find.

And I agree, Amazon has great prices on pipe books. The prices on eBay
usually exceed the Amazon price by a factor of 2 or 3.

Oops- now the secret is out. <sigh>

Great deal, Dock!! The last bound volume of TPSE I saw on ebay started, as I
recall, at $200.

Agreed! They have some esoterica at reasonable prices. That's how I
got Winans' "The Pipe Smokers Tobacco Book", Sherman's "All About
Tobacco", and Wolf's "Aromatic or Oriental Tobaccos". The first two
are foundation books, IMHO (even though they are dated and have a few
errors).

Think I've got to go pay Amazon a visit this evening...
