Morning,
Sounds tasty, Buck; nothing like starting the day with a bang. I've
chosen MacB. Golden Extra in a Yello Bole small bulldog. I've grown
quite fond of this broken flake, no-nonsense tobacco. The pipe is
ancient (4 digit) and small with a comfortable bit, a great work pipe,
and smokes very dry.

Mouse do you smoke smoke Golden Extra from bulk or tin? Either way
it's a very economical blend.

Hi Col.,
Li'l Brown had a clearance sale on the 1 lb. cannisters (~$13) so I
picked up a few. Then I ordered some more and they sent 1 and
backordered the other 2, but instead of sending cannisters, they sent
bags of bulk at $24/ea. So, to answer your question, I've been smoking
bulk. I've got 7 or 8 lbs. of it put aside for when Massachusetts
decides to follow Vermont's lead and try to put a tobacco tax on
internet sales. It is only a matter of time. In-state sales are already
taxed at something like 30-35% and they just increased the tax on cigs
by $1, almost as bad as NY. Although I don't need to tell you, it bears
repeating that tobacco isn't going to get any cheaper.

Kim, you sure do work a lot for a retired man.

I'm about to light up some Community College (Light Flake/University
Flake) with a little Carter Hall added in a big Savinelli Roma bent
billiard. Probably iced tea on the side, because it's just too damned
hot for hot tea.

Have a nice day guys,

Casey

Mornin' all. Haddo's in an RYO. Nothin' on the side. Riding a tidal
wave of anxiety ... hoping it will subside after a few hours, and
place me firmly back on the ground. One never knows, however. Almost
finished with a second P.G. Wodehouse book for Bookstacks. I think
I'll take a break from this author and jump into Willa Cather. Hope
all that are up are enjoying a tasty smoke,

Ian

I just got back from a doctor's appointment, so I'm ready for a bowl
of something good: Aged 2010 in a Jorn bamboo billiard.

You're a better man than me smoking Irish Flake so early in the
morning, Buck. :-)

It nailed my stomach pretty good cause all I had was a single bagel
with cream cheese, lol. It wasn't bad until I returned to bed.

I trust the Doctor's appointment went well.

Greeting Buck et al. It's 965 in a 1963 Dunhill Tanshell, coffee and
Vivaldi on the side. Sorry to hear about the anxiety, Ian. Isn't
Wodehouse great? Nothing to read today, but do have Das Boot to watch
if I need a break from my writing. Hope I don't end up on the couch
all day from meds reaction like I did yesterday. Going to ream down my
Peterson Silver Spigot to the wood today and soak in EverClear. I
think it should be giving me a better smoke. Pleasant Puffing to all.
