Mystery at Sea, or OUCH!

Mystery at Sea, or OUCH!

Just stoked the boilers of a Pete 314 and steamed off across the
parking lot, getting underway at about 2 knots, making for the USS
Hudson to make sure that her topside hatch was battened, as it looks
like rain. I felt a sharp stab o' pain, caused by an errant ember, on
the port side of my aft neck at about four steps into the crossing.
Engine Room! Damage Report! Analyze, Spock.

I’ll be in my quarters.

Yeah, but Jack knew what he was talking about. I only know what I
read in movies.

Jack would've started with "Call me Ishmael" and omitted the Star Trek
reference. <g>

Hey Cap'n Hudson! You have stimulated my thought processes. I feel
like a steam engine. Wooot wooot!
