Re: 7/5 evening smoke(s)

Evening Ed. It's Haddo's in an MYO, diet cranberry juice (with lots of
Brita water) in the big horkin' Mason jar. Classical on the radio.
Working on "A Room With a View" for Bookstacks, and man is this a good
book. Tim D., if you're reading, this is a perfect read for a quiet
afternoon, if you haven't already read it. Even better than the movie,
and that's saying something, as the movie was great. Of course, it
should have had its title changed to "Helena Bonham Carter", as she
*was* the movie, but that's neither here nor there in regards to the
book ... except that the character of Lucy Honeychurch is so much more
interesting after having seen Helena play her.

Hope all are having a good day,
Ian

Greetings Ed, Ian and the Gang, It's 965 in an all-American (4th's
still got me) Ruthenberg ring grain, planning to get a little Dunnie
Nightcap from Ed's recommend, sweety's sewing up a pillow case while
cooking up a pot of curry, Mozart's Clarinet Concerto's on the stereo,
still late afternoon here by the Pacific, sun's out for the first
time, shining kinda silvery like on the sea. Yeah, Ian, Forster's
great. Thanks for the recommendation. Have you seen any of the other
Merhant/Ivory films of Forster's work? Happy Smoking! - Tim

Yeah, they were good, but they lacked a couple key ingredients that
made RWAV so perfect: they didn't star Helena Bonham Carter, and they
weren't happy. Sure, she was in them, but it wasn't the same.

BTW, I always thought Forster wrote "A Passage to India", but now I'm
not so sure. Do you know who did?

Hope you're well,
Ian

Yeah, Ian, he did. Hey Mike, tell me if you see a good 'un. I'm always
looking form movie recommendations. Just finished rewatching
Goodfellows, Das Boot, and The Departed. I thought they were pretty
good. -- Tim

Good evenning everyone from Huntington Woods, Michigan. After a
beautiful day the air is cooling off. I'm smoking SG best brown flake
in a Castello Liverpool. It's one of my favorite pipes, it's just so
nice to smoke. When I finish it's time for family movie night. I see
so many movies from Netflix that I never remember which ones I'm going
to watch. Somebody asks what is the movie for tonight and my answer
is always, "it's something or other". Does anyone else have this
experience?

Evenin' Ed, Ian, Tim, ASP. Here it's F&T Golden Mixture in a Tinsky
blast 1/16 bent dublin. Drinking Lecompte's Originel Calvados Pays
D'Auge as a digestif. This, their cheapest Calvados, is the most apple-
y. A tad rugged but still fruity fun. Have a fun and safe Saddy night,
all.

Got the Nachwalter filled with Bayou Night for the hot tub soak which
is coming up right after I do this. Still clouds and a bit of misting
rain now and again.

'Evening fellas,

I spend the evening helping my brother patch up some leaks on his O'Day
sailboat while drinking some good beer.

Now I'm home with a small meer full of Penzance and Tom Waits on the
speakers. Thinking of brewing some tea but I may be just too tired for
that.

In any case, goodnight,

Casey

Hey Casey, the Tom Waits show was outstanding! I never knew he was
such a showman. He had everyone in the palm of his hands the whole
night. His older son played drums and percussion and his younger son
(maybe 12 or 13) played drums and clarinet. Between songs he told
tall tales that got everyone laughing. The setlist was very similar
to Thursday's: http :// eyeballkid.blogspot,com /

There is a selection of Tom Waits performances on YouTube.

Wow, Col, that must've been a fantastic show! I haven't heard the new
album yet, but the setlist looks awesome. Lucinda is one of my favs, I'm
surprised he opened with it. ::high five:: my friend.
