July 6, evenins smokes

Smoking Arcadian in a full bent Dunhill. It's just getting better and
better.

Re: July 6, evenins smokes

Hi Jerry & ASP,
It's hot here today; I am nursing a Charatan Dublin packed with
McClellands 2030.
This is McClelland's premium Balkan; however, seems a little lite on
the Latakia.
It's not a really complex Balkan (IMHO), a good smoke for a hot day
here in California's Central Valley.
The red VA's shine through in most pipes--a nice all day smoke. I
think his is a quality mixture and
one of McClelland's better if not the best English offering. A little
more Latakia would be nice!

Enjoy your Sunday Pipes
Blue

'Evening gents,

I'm smoking some Lane BS-005 in a small meer, listening to Guy Clark,
and enjoying a scotch before dinner. It's Sunday, which means tomorrow's
Monday. That's OK though. Mondays need love too!

'Evening again,

Now it's University Flake in a small prince. Sam Adams Weizen on the
side. Watching some news as well. Have a nice night,

I assume you like Townes Van Zandt and Jimmie Dale Gilmore, as well?
Boy, I do, especially TVZ. My fav Guy Clark is Desperados Waiting on
a Train. An underrated genre, that's for sure.

I'm about to fill a GBD apple with Renaissance.

I'm a huge TVZ fan, indeed. Never heard of Jimmie Dale Gilmore though.
Similar? I'll for sure pick some up and give it a listen.

Different, but similar. Jimmie Dale has a very unique voice that I
like very much. He is also a very good songwriter.

Re: July 6, evenins smokes

Hi Jerry, Blue and Asp,

It has been a P.A. day here in Massachusetts with a zone smoke to
start it all off on the right note...However, it got pretty muggy here
in the afternoon so I retired to the car out of the sun and smoked a
cigar. Evening brings me to a bowl of Lane HGL in a Stanwell Rook.

Peace and God bless,

The Great Pawn Hunter

'evening all. After dinner; C&D Corinthian in Cavvichi C sorta dublin

Evenin' ASP. It's Haddo's in an RYO, Diet Pepsi on the side. Classical
on the radio. A friend of mine just flew into town. When he was at the
airport, he not only had his bag to lug, but the conductor of the
Berlin Philharmonic. When he got to the ticket counter, the lady asked
him if he wanted to check the conductor. "No ma'am," he said. "It's
Karajan."

Anyway, just sitting here putting off doin' the dishes. I suppose I
should. They're starting to resemble a game of Jenga. Hope everyone
that's up and smokin' is smokin' up somethin' good (and leavin' off
their g's),

Evening all,

McCrannie's Red Flake tonight. I just succumbed to an attack of TAD at
pipesandcigars; stocking up on some Hearth & Home VA/PERs for the
cellar: AJ's, Rolando's Own, Virginia Spice, and Louisiana Red. Also
decided to try the two new (to me) Sam Gawith blends, Golden Glow and
Celtic Talisman. I am not an aromatic smoker usually so am a little
uneasy about the Celtic Talisman; anyone here tried it?

Finishing the bowl of PSLTF I started last night in a Tilshead bullcap and was
just too tired to finish. Hopefully I'll be more successful tonight. Yay, my
weekend's starting!

Evenin' ASP. 965/Ashton XXX Pebble Grain. Just came in from sitting by
the sea with my sweety, watching the pelicans fly by while the sun
played peak-a-boo with the clouds. Vaughn Williams on the stereo.
