Be thankful for any family or friends you have remaining - I've no
family left at all save for a few distant cousins in parts unknown and,
as my health declined and particularly after I lost my legs, my friends
seemed to want to have little to nothing to do with me. I'm not trying
to say that I'm worse off, I'm just praying that you do have some
family or friends left for whom you can be thankful.
