Pessimistic but true.

Audrey Silk, who heads NYC Citizens Lobbying Against Smoker
Harassment, says the boost in calls is just a knee-jerk reaction, and
most smokers will return to their habit.

Nicotine is a badly underestimated drug.

It addicts. It addicts strongly.

I know what it is like to get harrased by cigarettes. I worked for an
insurance company in the 70's and 80's. People that smoked reigned.
They got their energy from tobacco and coffee. When I found out that
I was sensitive to cigarette smoke, I asked the manager if he could
get people to stop smoking during our meetings. Not only did the
smokers not stopped, they harrased me with their cigarettes! I
finally had to leave my job. I once purchased respiratory meds at a
drug store. This asshole with a cigar was standing behind me. He had
his rights. I had to get a dose of his second hand cigar smoke. When
I told him, he laughed! I have been able to avoid smoke since I left
the insurance business. Not it is the law and the smokers are fource
out to the outdoor smoking lounge.

Smokers are their own worst enemy. If all smokers, not just a minority,
would simply treat people the way they want to be treated, all these
public smoking bans, such as the new one in Pennsylvania, would never
have seen the light of day.

The arguments for smoking bans are based on junk science, not smoker rudeness. For
example, Tobacco-Free Kids says:

"Smoke-Free Workplaces and Public Places: Secondhand smoke is scientifically proven to
cause lung cancer, heart disease and serious respiratory illnesses and is responsible
nationally for thousands of deaths each year. That’s why a growing number of states and
communities are passing comprehensive smoke-free workplace laws that protect everyone’s
right to breathe clean air."

No, liar, the arguments for smoking bans are based on an obvious
scientific fact. Tobacco smoke contains 43 known carcinogens. All 43
of these known carcinogens are present in Second Hand Indoor Tobacco
Smoke.

Scientists are dumb. They waste time and money measuring effect size. All they need to do
is count the NUMBER of carcinogens. If A has 40 and B has 20, A is twice as dangerous as
B.

The idea is so simple, an idiot could understand it. If anyone disputes the idea, just say
it's an obvious scientific fact.

Scientists have the same genes and instincts as other humans. They put their pants on one

POLITICIANS are truly dumb and dishonest. Are you a politician?
