Harming others is wrong, always has been, always will be,

I take it you do not have nor do you ever use an internal combustion
engine in any way shape or form?

You'll take it anyway we civilized non-smokers decide to give
it to you, addict.

And you'll like it!

Now bend over and have another.

Shouldn't be long before they are telling us what sort of clothing to

Prison-style jumpsuits won't be necessary, as they do not affect the
performance of our implanted GPS and ID chips.

Good point.
Of course the FLIR Systems on the smoking police helicopters can
pinpoint us every time we light up.
Wonder when they are going to start shooting us?

So do you walk up to cars and suck on their exhaust pipes and complain
that they invaded your space too?

Get fucking real, addict - yes, you are an addict - of the worst kind.
Smokers can quit, but you are mentally deranged and there is very little
that can be done for that.

This sort of thing strikes me as very similar to another sort of
occurrence - the people who go out of their way to go somewhere - a
fetish club, for example - knowing _exactly_ what they're going to find
when they get there, then getting all upset at the "public displays of
lewdness" or some such rot.

Sorry, cheesedick, but if *you* go out of your way to get yourself all
offended, don't cry to me about it - you did it to yourself. Or, in
simpler terms, grow up.

You need to give details. To what am I addicted? In what way does it
suck to be me?

One off lines repeated endlessly may be the height of wit among your
friends, but among grown ups you have to be able to support your
opinions.

Not really, as it's not him or I - being the ignorant prick and having
to live with the results of that.

Or, to paraphrase an old exchange, "Kelsey, you're a smoker!" "Reality
Check, you're an asshole - and I can quit."

Many made a first serious attempt to quit after 2 1/2 month of
sporadic smoking - and most failed. Cravings and withdrawal symptoms
grew along with discouragement.

"And by the time they've have smoked for 21 months they have lost
confidence in their ability to quit," O'Loughlin said. "As soon as
they experience craving, the story is over. They're on the trajectory
to becoming an adult smoker."

Despite early and increasing difficulty in quitting, it took about
three years for the smokers to realize that they could not quit
smoking of their own free will.

"They confidently say, 'I've quit and I'm never going to smoke
again,'" said O'Loughlin. "They continue with a bravado attitude and
it takes them quite a while to realize, 'Hey, I can't stop this,' or
'I'm smoking because I can't quit."
