I found I wasn't accurate about that. MS Outlook can be made to trigger
a filter by any string in the message header or body. That opens up a
lot more possibilities than Outlook Express, Windows Mail, or Windows
Live Mail. However, it still doesn't do regular expressions, so it
might still be difficult to make a good filter that catches all spam
from China.
Seems to me that the email spam I get still comes from all over. Lots
from China, of course, but nearly as much from India, South America,
Russia, and other places.
