Re: Interesting

I have not heard noiseless singles that I liked that well other than
actives like EMG.

Maybe these are different.

Vintage type stagger, pity, but I guess some folks like them.

Jay has been so good to me, I deal exclusively with them now for my pickups.
I have been disappointed once with a pickup of theirs but I sold it for 10
dollars more than I paid for it. My favorite axe is loaded with GFS pups and
it rips.

Which one?

Which ones? ;-)

I bought my second XV-500 a few months back, this one loaded with
their "Crunchy PAT's"

but there's nothing high output about them; really mellow, nuanced,
takes a lot to drive them. I'm not even sure they didn't load
something else in there by mistake. At first I was a little pissed,
but then I realized it's good to have a mellow one in the stable. So
I'm good with it.

I don't remember the model of the one I sold but I told Jay I wanted
something similar to a 59 and it was what he suggested after several e-mails
imploring him to make a suggestion, the guy I sold it to loves it, but me
not so much.

My favorite guitar is a strat loaded with a calibrated set of lil killers.
Fat, punchy and articulate. I am going to split the middle and neck pups I
think so I can have single coil sounds too.
