It was indeed! I grew up listening to bluegrass seeing my dad was a
hillbilly from an Appalachian coal-miner family. Well grew up on it until
the Beatles debut :) Anyway I'm no stranger to that speed-roll picking
style and am still humbled by it. I can play a little banjo but not
actually owning one my roll picking isn't that great. I do own a nice
fiddle though. Made in Bavaria around the mid 1800's. Bought it along with
another not so great fiddle for 60 bucks. I've been offered 3 grand for it
by the person who re-haired my bow.
