Duosonic-Jaguar P/U interchangeable?

Hi. I just found this group and was wondering if someone could help me
out. I'm putting together a Fender Duosonic project with a '60 neck
and '63 refinished body. I need pickups, and was wondering if Jaguar
and/or Strat replacements would fit. I know Fralin and Duncan make the
Duosonic replacements, but I would prefer the other type. From what
I've seen, it appears all Fender type P/Us are the same size, but
would appreciate a knowledgable answer on this.
THANKS - RB

I've started a hardtail duosonic hybrid with new mahogany body and an old
Warmoth 7/8 scale neck that is NOT a conversion neck, even though it has 24
3/4" scale. I looked at vintage pups off ebay and from memory ( had four of
them), I decided they weren't worth the price. Pete Biltoft @ Vintage Vibe
Guitars built a pair of Jag pickups for me, something with a little more
bite. I'm stalled at the moment with the Duo, may put the Jag pups in a
spare strat body to try them out.
I received a few answers ( use google search and you can find my results-
same topic ). You'll probably have too make up your own mind about what goes
in...

Later,
Sammy B
