Had enough of the looking for a job blues so I got well and truly

At least amp has been fixed in record time though.

Resuming normal transmission

Hey,

Me too!!1!!!

I woke up around 2:30 this morning feeling...very weird, and not at all
'right' in myself (yet, sober). Including one of the worst headaches
I've ever experienced, dizzyness and faintness. A 45 minute shower
helped somewhat, but probably confused my housemate a tad.

Might be time to take it easy for a bit... :-\

Bacon and eggs with Tabasco sauce - can't beat it for a hangover cure.
As long as you can keep it down... ;)

Hey now that's synchronicity... I think I vomited for the last time at
2:30am. I hate those last ones... its all bile. Gah! I havent been that
wrecked in a very long time and I'm not sure I want to repeat it in a
hurry either.

The things we do.

Anywho, been chatting to a potential manager for Scartissue and they
seem to be pretty interested in us. They've got a decent deal in the
works too which I probably shouldn't mention but it's going to open
lots of doors for lots of bands. I'm keen to get in on that for sure.
One door closes, others open. Perhaps I'm just not meant to be in IT
any longer. Gotta admit its totally doing my head in.

I got out of it for a few years and ended up going back. Now though, I have
a job I love even though the money isn't the greatest. I work out of the
house, work maybe 10-20 hrs a week but get paid for 40, and if I do happen
to somehow work overtime I get paid for that too. Pays better than 50k a
year so I aint bitching.

Oh and the Whiskey thing? The reason I don't keep Whiskey in the house is
because I love it, and would probably be drunk 3 nights a week. Can't be
doing that because when I get hangovers they last for 3-4 days. Hell I've
had a bottle of Jager in the freezer now for over a year that hasn't even
been cracked yet...

I've been listening to a newish radio staion herabouts called FBI, they play
lots of demos, thye're like JJJ but much less commercial and they're
getting a real vibe happening. good music, if you wanted to open doors in
sydney, send 'em a demo, they'd play it.

whiskey hangovers are the worst. you can sit on the throne for 45 minutes
and think jeez, I better get things wiped and get on with the day.

nice drink occasionally, but regularly, it'll wreck you and leave you with
the shakes and whiskey blossoms... and the DT's

Hey..sometimes you gotta make the room spin.

Remember I mentioned "Crown Royal" a while ago? That's whiskey :)

How much of a bottle did you drink? And how do you drink it usually?

Peace,

Hard to say as I was at a pub but I was downing doubles of Jack and
alternating with Makers Mark. I'd say it would have been pretty close
to a bottle. So, lots. I have it on ice generally.

Ow w w ww... The last time I hurled (about 10 years ago), it was after
drinking half a bottle of OP Grants (1l bottle) in a Spa. can you say
DUMB. Shit did that one hurt, spinning, swaying, hurling in my bro in
laws garden, oh boy...

I have a rule, after the 3rd pit stop its time to stop. Putting mirrors
in the dunny is a sure fire way to sober you up. Looking into the mirror
you think, who is that drunken fuck? Or, what are you looking at, hic.
Oops.

I'm just having a snifter of Lagavulin atm. Nice. Might partake of some
fraking battlestar too;-)

BTW IT always does your head in. Tis the nature of the beast. Usually
the worst aspect is the bastard (boss or customer) that insists you do
something without the proper gear and has to be 110% functional. The
never seem to get it till it costs them plenty of mulla. Even then it
wears off after a short amount of time.

Hows the band? Gigs?

Hope the headache is getting better and Cheers

Mark

Oh I have a boss that you would take great delight in stabbing in the
head. Truly *the* most narcissitic arrogant fuck I have ever had the
misfortune of meeting in my entire life. More to that story too but I
wont bore everyone here with it.

Next gig is May 30. It's a big one too. We've been asked to do a double
setter on a prime night. One catch, we need to bring in excess of 120
punters. I think it's doable so needless to say I would like to see you
there. :)

I really don't tend to suffer headaches but the depression is a killer.
It's been a sedate day but I suppose I needed it really given the
amount of BS that's going on lately. *sigh* That has meant no guitar
practice... nothin. Just me time. It's been good.

advertiser to the stars ... 'bill posters'.
does the venue advertise its gigs on the posters on telegraph poles? just a
thought.
i think the guys who do that are in 'on the street'. or the melb equivalent,
near the 'have van will travel' roadie guy.
