All new pedalboard

Well,

I'm sorry if you're fed up with reading about my pedalboard and all its
woes but finally, it all fits together properly. I got the Pedaltrain
Pro board and man do they rock. Well, if you gots lots o' the things
they do. Also picked up another PP2 to really hit the nail on the head.

Yeah I'm quite poor now but I got a great pedalboard!

Here tis...

Nice! "One of these days," I need to get my pedals off the floor and
organized.

Friend of mine has one of these...heavy, and a PITA to rearrange and
haul around.

They can get heavy, but solid, it's all together and that's what I wanted!

Bottom, Alesis Quadraverb rack unit and sturdy multi socket line, wall
warts and excess wire, neatly rolled, taped down.

Top, AC Booster, PreSonus BlueMax Compressor, Boss GE7 Equalizer, Zoom
GFX-8 and Radial ToneBone Classic. All Stereo set up and out to two
amps. It's all about what *you* want- not what makes someone else
content. mvm

...just protectin' yer back, dude...

I turned in all my warts for a 1-Spot some time ago. Even powers my
Moog MuRF with it's "special" higher current supply along with
everything else. I've got the one wart powering the whole shootin'
match via a PedalSnake channel, so it's back behind the amp and there's
no power supplies near my pedals.

http :// www .pedalsnake,com /

I run a stereo setup too (two V3 half stacks), and the PedalSnake is
just the ticket for doing that. I made a semi-mistake and thought I'd
be content with a four channel one, but seeing as both my heads have two
loops each - serial and parallel - I'll probably get a seven channel one
in the near future.

Yer a bad influence on me, Vamp. After trying to cut down on FX, I
suddenly want to put together another board with all of the stompboxes
that seem to be multiplying in my music room.

Maybe I'll just try the XT Live in front of my rack system. That'll
give me enough toys to play with for a while (and no velcro and power
supply issues).

I have the same board, but, I'm about to get rid of it... With it's
'suitcase', yours must weigh 60 pounds!!! I still am not happy with getting
to that top tier, and I just think the board is too heavy...

Hope you enjoy - I liked mine when I got it, but....

you're kidding right?
This thing is sooo much lighter than the previous version and this has
two power supplies in it and a couple extra pedals.

As for the top tier, well I've become quite good at tap dancing so I
dont think that will bother me. I have the bypass strip that I
pre-program if you like and that just gets kicked in when I need it so
really the only thing I need to go up top for is the chorus and the
line6.

If I reached for the top tier there is a good possiblity I'd fall over. My
balance isn't as good as it used to be.

Its already made of aluminium. How much lighter did you want to get?

I work in a place with a metal-fab shop.... I think what they used makes the
board heavier than it has to be...

My opinion....
