Hankering for a JEM update

I tried a couple of things. First I bought some Blowout specials from the
GFS site, two 4 conductor white buckers that wired to Duncan codes......B
14K and N 10K sounded a bit smoother than the stock bannzies, but not what I
was after.....they are REALLY nice for 38 bucks a pair though! So I just
bucked up and did a Duncan Jazz in the neck, and a Duncan Custom 5 in the
rear, both white.....and an old Hs-3 in the middle. Have the sounds I want,
so with the RG350DX at 399 and the pickups at 145, I still have what I
want...I can live without the tree of life inlay and monkey grip! lol

Good stuff. Sounds like a keeper;-) Is it HSH or HH?

My Yamaha RGX is getting along nicely. Refretting is going real slow. I
have just had part of the body milled out to accommodate a slab of
stainless steel, which my Kahler 2500 trem is now mounted on. It has a
Shadow 59 PAF in the bridge and two hand made 50's style staggered Strat
pups in the neck and middle. Only thing to get is tuners now, waiting
for GFS to get some more black eazy loks. also gotta cut a new nut. Hell
of a learning curve this one.

I know what you mean;-) I prefer 3, but HSH is nice for a change.
