Nah, Musicman - look at the 4+2 headstock. Almost bought a used one a few
years ago, but I wasn't deep enough into electrics in those days to justify
the expense. Loved that almost-pink sunburst colour and the angular front
end of the body.

There you go.
Speed without melody *and* soul/phrasing is not very interesting.
Albert's got it !

Not music but I must admit that's pretty impressive. I used to be able to
pick fast (not like this guy but pretty fast) but lost interest in it years
ago hence lost the ability. Now I don't care to pursue it. I still like to
play some faster stuff but strive more for tone and phrasing these days.

I figured out a long time ago that I was never going to be fast, so I
figured I'd better to learn to "play slow"...and/but expressively.

...still working on it...almost there.

Pretty much the same conclusion I reached. Like Gilmour says, he isn't a
fast player and will try any trick in the book to sound faster;-) May as
well add some expression while you are at it.

Not there......yet.

it's like some nerve thing is happening. it's ll one string stuff, if he
could crosspick at that speed that /would/ be something.
